Adam Horowitz & Edward Kitsis

Adam Horowitz & Edward Kitsis are writers/producers for LOST. They appeared at a campus recently and had a Q & A session. One of the questions asked was about the numbers...

Q21. Why are these numbers specifically used?

A21. Yankees jerseys! No, Damon Lindelof came up with them. Why? Keep watching.

Hey, FYI. Astronomy buff here. The Big Dipper is a major signpost for the night sky. You can use it to find all sorts of Northern Hemisphere sweetspots. Check it out! I would myself, but I've only watched like two eps so far.

It REALLY pisses me off when someone says: "The timer says 108!!! No Way! Has anyone else noticed this??!?!?" -or- "Flight 815, get it? 8-15!!!!!!!!!"

These people are stupid. You're not the only ones watching the show. We don't want to hear about how ignorant you are. Go away.

Oh, and hey, does anyone know of a word beginning with MEFU... or NEFU...? If you do, send an e-mail to spielshamawood@yahoo.com

    Thank you.

well if u add up the numbers they equal 108,4+8+15+16+23+42=108 which is the number on the counter.

Yes this is a good show.

But you guys are also way too obsessed. If you want you can intrepret anything from these numbers.

You can say 108 - the sum of all the numbers, is actually 42 in base 5.830951895!
It can also be 23 in base 3.872983346!
All main characters of the show have 4 limbs!!
Sawyer fires 7 shots at the polar bear in the second episode... 23-16 is 7!!!

Now isn't that a MARVELOUS FIND!!

16= the years the french women have been in the jungle

23= the number of the seat of jack

42= the number of the seat of ana lucia the women that jack meet before they get in the airplane.
