Listen to writer and Executive Producer of the hit ABC TV series Lost,
as he joins Gord Lacey of TV Shows on DVD.Com, for the first annual
on-line TV Time Machine Awards presented to the best and worst TV Show
DVD's from the past year. Audio-cast on TV Time Machine.Com, and hosted
by TV historian Jim Benson, TV Time Machine is a radio show that covers
classic television in a unique, offbeat, but informative fashion. Along
with host Jim Benson and co-host John Field, Mr. Lacey explores with Mr.
Cuse the phenomenon that is Lost, and the show's impact on both broadcast
television and DVD.

Within this remarkable audio spectacle, several additional guests climb
aboard the TV Time Machine: The Soup Nazi from Seinfeld, actor Larry
Thomas; Earl Hamner, Jr., creator of The Waltons and writer on the
original Twilight Zone; noted DVD producer Paul Brownstein (Twilight
Zone - The Definitive Edition), and all the way from England, inventor
Stefan Pijanowski from the Amaray DVD Packaging company. During the
course of this radio program, over forty awards are presented (featuring
over one hundred nominees) encompassing the very best and worst TV show
DVD's in 2005. In addition to the prestigious Timee Award, each winner
receives a glittering audio retrospective celebrating the DVD industry's
triumphs and failures over the past 365 days.

Within this one-hour radio extravaganza, a plethora of DVD Awards are
presented within the following categories:

- The Most Extraordinary Extras Featured on a TV Show DVD Set
- The Best Plastic Hub When Attempting to Extricate a DVD Without Cracking
the Center of the Disc
- The Worst and Most Cumbersome DVD Packaging
- The Best DVD Company as it Relates to Consumers Needs, Wants, and Desires
- The One TV Show That Never Should Have Seen the Light of Day on DVD
- The Best Digital Remastering and Transfer
- The Best Example of a TV Show DVD Release Not Realizing Its Greatest
Potential
- The Best Manufacturer When it Comes to Including a Ton of Supplementary
Material on Almost Every DVD Release
- The Most Dismal and Worst DVD Release of 2005
- The Best TV Show DVD Release of 2005
- And many, many, more!

Again, for those of you intrepid enough to wear somebody else's tuxedo
for the evening, be sure to adjust your cummerbund, as we slip from the
restraints of the present and enter a world featuring a year-end audio
review of the past!

Great Post keep it up. Better if you submit articles as well.

I make no claims on knowing who is telling the truth, but it doesn't appear that these online articles are clear.
