Season 2 Update 7

When I receive emails I read them in the order I got them, so someone might submit a contribution and I'll write their name down. I might have 25-50 more emails with the same exact thing but I hope you guys understand I don't have the time to write down all those names and type them all out, so I take the one who submitted it first. If you submitted one you see here but it's someone else's name it's because I already wrote it down before I got to your email, it's not because it was ignored!

This set of (extremely unlucky) numbers is definitely more than just a recurring topic in the series. They have been tied to the lottery (okay that was lucky, but had a curse attached) Multiple deaths, a fire, a ship wreck, a plane crash(?), and a hatch... Leaving us with the question: What is the significance of the recurring set of numbers?

MagisterZ at has an interesting theory "The Numbers are Morse Code"...(POISON TEST ETA?)

Wasn't there 48 survivors as well? That would be 4 and 8. Oceanic Flight 815? 8 and 15. I didn't see those in there.

you guys are stretching. some numbers are significant but come on...adding 1976 from 1+9+7+6 = 23 thats just reaching and its crap. they are just poking fun.

Hey, don't forget the hatch's Whirlpool Duet washer. It can wash up to 16 pairs of jeans.

But seriously, that's Whirlpool's actual ad hook for the Duet.
